FIRM-LEVEL SERVICES
- Business Strategy: We serve our clients by formulating a sustainable business strategy for them after analyzing their resources, capabilities and core competencies as well as scanning the market segments they are willing to operate in.
- Corporate Strategy: For our conglomerate clients, who have several business units in and out of the construction and real estate industry, we provide them assistance in portfolio management, vertical integration and horizontal diversification strategies.
- Market Analysis: We advise our clients by analyzing markets of different countries and project type segments while examining the value chain characteristics in these markets and identifying distinct categories of opportunities.
- Competitor Analysis: These services comprise an analysis of our clients’ competitors in terms of various aspects including their business models, cost versus differentiation strategies, geographic focus, financial parameters and other competitive advantages and weaknesses.
PROJECT-LEVEL SERVICES
- Procurement Strategy: We work with our clients, mostly owners and developers, who would like to contract out a construction project, in deciding on the most appropriate procurement method (construction, design-build, EPC, DBO, BOT), the award method (competitive bid, negotiation, multiparameter bid), the timing of the tender and other parameters to decrease their construction costs and duration.
- Bidding Strategy: We assist our clients, mostly contractors, in their bid versus no-bid and mark-up size decisions in international tenders by analyzing various aspects of the tender projects as well as competitors participating in these tenders.
- Strategic Alliance Management: In projects where our clients need partners to collaborate with, we advise them through the whole process of strategic alliance management particularly at partner identification and assessment, contract negotiation, alliance termination/renewal stages.
- Competitor Analysis: This service is similar to the one described in the firm-level section above, except that this is provided mostly for contractors for a specific project rather than general in firm level. We analyze competitors’ capabilities in terms of their past bidding behavior, backlog level, international experience, specialized expertise, financial status, past relationship with project owner and other important criteria.
- Project Financing Advisory: We advise our clients in financing their projects through our innovative model using Export Credit Agencies (ECA) by establishing an optimum financial-technical structure and a procurement program from selected international suppliers.
